| hey all, about a month ago i got a evga geforce 6800 off newegg and it worked fine until one day it gave me really crappy preformance in all the games i play and 3d mark 05. i was getting ~2500 in 3d mark now i only get ~1000. i cant figure it out ive reformated my computer, rolled back drivers, updated drivers, updated BIOS, and checked the voltage. all seem to be fine, but its giving me crapy preformance. any ideas? and im running dual monitors...that doesnt have any affect on preformance does it? AMD Athlon 64 3000+@ 1.8 =) 1024mb G.SKILL DDR 400 120 gb WD & 30 gb Maxtor Chaintech S1689 Thermaltake Silent PurePower420W thanks all | ||

| Vanilla 6800's have been dropping dead left and right. My first one (from BFG) started messing up, corrupting the image and getting piss poor frame rates. The one they replaced gives me a little trouble somtimes, creating artifacts on my secondary minitor. So, RMA the thing. eVGA is good bout that stuff. | ||
