 |  problem with nvidia fx5500 When i try to start any game that requires directx it shows a prompt that says it cant start because it cant start directx. I have direct x 9.0 installed. ive tried to reinstall my video drivers and directx. im running on windows 98 |

 | Check this out. Seems the highest DirectX version you can go in Win98 is 8.1. Ive actually experienced that very problem myself. The fix: Windows 2000 Pro. Windows XP would be better, but thats up to you. BTW, welcome to PR.
