![]() | I'm looking at getting the mx440 nvida card because of its price value and i mostly only play counter strike so i dont need a top notch card. Tthe visiontek card i think i want to get does not come with active cooling. What would i need to do to add it. I have a 40mm and a 50mm fan and a heatsink/fan off my odl video card would i jsut have to take the odl heatsink off and mount the other one? This card does have spots for two skrews for a heatisnk/fan. Ii am pretty computer litterate/handy(built a computer) but I hwo ahrd is it to take the old heatisnk off and put a new one. Iis there chance i coudl ruin the card? |

In another thread you said you wanted to OC the card, in which case you are correct, better cooling would be needed. The thing is, an MX card won't oc for sheit anyhow, and even if you could oc it ........ it would just be a slightly faster POS. So, keep the stock sink and save your cash
