| Apex Techie Lite | Hello Yall, I have an couple of local buddies of my that have owned an 6600 GT AGP for quite sometime now with an couple of issues that has been all of sudden coming up.Some of things was Error messages saying that they dont have enough voltage to go into full Graphics mode, and the others have been getting extreme high temp's.I think that I have helped them out enough to solve the problems with both. For the Voltage Error I had him Install the following Driver 77.78,and for the heat problem I had him buy The Zalman VF700-CU to keep the temp's down. They never have overclocked theirs just stock settings. So If anyone wouldnt mind to share their same results with the card. Thank You!!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I've also got a pair in sli mode.Never had any issues except when it got over 95f this summer.the gpu's got up around 60c.so installed heatpipe coolers on both. I run them 24/7 overclocked at 571 Mhz gpu and 1206 mem.

| whaaat? wheaties? | IMO, Its the best video card investment Ive ever made. Well, next to the Ti4200 I had a few years back. Mine to is 24/7 rock solid stable @ 549/1200. Its been overclocked since day one without a single hiccup. On stock cooling too. As for the voltage error, Ive seen that once. It was because I forgot to plug in the molex connector. Not saying you've overlooked it, but you might wanna check anyways to be sure. What was weird is that when the power wasnt hooked up, it still booted to windows, surfed web sites, etc. I didnt get the error until I tried to do something graphic intensive.

| Apex Tech God | It will still run 3d programs without the power too, another reason why it slaps aroudn the 9800Pro. Allthough without the power its about on par with a TNT2...

| Apex Techie Lite | Yes, I suppose that I should have put more detail on the information I did post, but the 6600 GT in my brother In laws computer had the 4-Pin source plugged in,and of course Its still insist to pop up in windows. On the Pin side though I tested it with my Multi Meter and It was putting out on the 12VDC side a solid 12.4 Volts, and on the 5VDC it was putting out 5.2 Volts...So I couldnt understand why that was happen..His card is made by PNY!
