| I am doing the same thing, but the fins on mine are much smaller. I don't have a proper clamp so I cut them with a hacksaw. Actually turned out pretty smooth. Now I need to cut the blocks into 4 pieces to act as heatsinks. I will not do that with a hacksaw. I will be getting a good vise and free-cut with a jigsaw. I need the vise anyway for my "Honey Do" list. After I am done I will use AS adhesive as the contact compound of choice. Aint no need to spend $30 on small squares of metal. | ||

| Apex Tech Fanatic Supreme | Band saw and a vice would work great As far as a metal blade for a table saw, just turn your wood blade backwords and it works like candy, no reason to buy another blade. (I worked in the sheet metal field for years, thats an insider trick, so don't tell anyone) Casper | |

| Apex Tech Fanatic Supreme | I can send you a pic of a setup of our band saw in the shop. Vice ---------------- ---------------- <--- band saw ---------------- <---- vice Saw simply cuts down the middle of the vice (actually, you can move the saw to cut where you want, just making a simple diagram.)
