That rumor is all over the place. Their is also one that says it will be a special edition chip with only 100,000 produced. They have almost presold that many worldwide. I dont know why they would make it anyway the nv35 is supposed to be out by late summer. U may not want to by a high end card right now.

ok, first of, who on gods green earth beleives anything that is in the inquirer??!....if you beleive anything in that rag, i have a 6 headed baby dragon id like to show sitting in my back yard toasting marshmellows for me......

my point of view on the whole issue is that nvidia's drivers are usually 99% rock solid, and usually always give a performance boost....and there track record from beta drivers are like 50/50 sometimes there good, sometimes there bad.....so i think the FX is gonna be one of those things you are just gonna have to wait and see what the drivers do......we know the raw power is gonna be there, but what will the retail drivers and dx9 do for it.....its ultimately all in the final retail drivers
