actually dude that looks a little light for halflife 2, your probably getting some low frame rate or framing slips, which means 1 of 2 things.

1. go to fry's or somewhere and get some frequency grease to lubricate those frames back into normal spec.
2. your actually getting some frame drops, in which case you should be able to pick up a bit bucket at frys to help clean up the mess. youll probably want some memory glue also to patch up your leak.
If you think your hardware isnt good enough for halflife or you are still experiencing problems, you can always go to alienware.com and purchase one of their excellent gaming rigs.

WOW! Kind of harsh don't you think? Way to greet a new PR member. Theguy was asking a simple question. While you may know everything aboutwebsites and using the search button, he may not.

The HL2 recommended specs are:
Minimum Requirements:
1.2 GHz CPU
256MB RAM
3.5GB hard drive space
DirectX 7 capable 3D card
Internet connection

Recommended Requirements:
2.4GHz CPU or equivalent
512MB RAM
6GB hard drive space (for additional Steam games)
Radeon 9700 Pro or GeForce FX 5600
Broadband Internet connection

If you are having probs running the game I would suggest upgrading yourPC, starting with the least expensive thing, trying the game again. Then if that does not solve it, move to the next thing.

If you cannot afford to upgrade but already have the game try lowering the graphics features in setup.
Good luck!

would not have been so harsh on the guy had not have posted three times with the same message. one thread would have been sufficient. would have been nice of him to atleast ask an admin to delete the thread.
