![]() | hi all, i have a 5900xt from XFX i like to overclock normal stats r 350 core , 800 memory , i can overclock it to 500 core and 950 memory , id like to know if my card will burn out if i overclock to this standers i have a fan blowing heat out from the bottom and a fan on top blowing heat from graphics card and the cpu and a fan on the side of the case blowing cold air in on to the cpu and memory , any ideas? 3D Mark 2003, without o/clocked : 5129 ![]() 3d mark 2003 , with o/clock : 5901 big increase thats with 500 core 950 memory, and just another thing i have medal of honor pacific assualt i have to run it on low so that i don't get graphics lag is this right cos the 5900xt is a powerfull card ? thanks all ! |

| Supe-Hoe-Charged | If you can pass 3dmark03 while it's overclocked, it's stable for the most part. Put it to the test, by playing some high-demanding games, like far-cry or doom3. Look for artifacts, or freezes. Invest in better cooling if you are worried.

| Supe-Hoe-Charged | I don't know how graphically demanding medal of honor is, so I don't know how well a 5900XT should run it. I do know, however, that a 5900XT isn't the most advanced graphics card either. I wouldn't worry, upgrade to a better graphics card with more pipelines.
