Hmm.. I wouldn't go with any of those, they all smell of poo. If you're going to buy a 256MB card save up some more money and buy one that doesn't stink, or buy a better 128MB card.

Take a look at one of these:

None of those are that good of a vid card. Let me give you a little clue that memory is not as important as the GPU. A 9800 with 128 MB RAM will spank the ass of a 9600xt with 256 MB RAM - GPU over RAM, if you find two in the same price range with the same core then use memory to narrow it down but dont go looking based on memory.

In that price range go 9800 series, then 5900 series - if you want to spend a little more go 6600 series. Finally check NewEgg for prices, they may have hosed me in the past but they always make up for it.

yeah i agree with matahchuah and aaronrkelly. the graphic cards that you picked out aren't that great. for a little more, you can got for a 6600 series card.

also, how many video cards are you buying? pretty much all of your posts here have been asking for suggestions on a video card and it seems like all of them except one have been about thoughts on a graphics card for under $200. are we wasting our time posting our thoughts since we've already made suggestions for you? all of those graphics card posts could have been placed in one thread.

I really like the card I have. It's been very stable and just puts out the graphics very well.

I agree with everyone else, don't sweat the ram, unless you are spending more than $200. At that price point currently with AGP you are pretty much looking at a 6600GT card.
