GF2 MX200 32mb OC question

I'm a tad behind with my graphics card and I can't really afford to get a newer card, at least not for another 3 or 4 months anyway. I was wondering if anyone out there has overclocked a GeForce2 mx200 with 32 megs of RAM?

If you have, how did you do it and what kind of results did you get?

I know I have a pretty lame graphics card by todays standards but it played Return To Castle Wolfenstein just fine and it plays UT2003 in low detail just fine. I was thinking that if I can overclock this thing I might be able to get a little bit more life out of it.

Any ideas anyone?

Try "PowerStrip" from

"http://www.tweakpc.com/Video.htm"

Ctrl+f "power" to find it in that list

Or "GeForce Tweak Utility"

Its what i use seems to work but remeber higher speeds arent always better i go 240 Mhz from 200 seems best performance increase wen u hit 300 , it wiggs out nomatter how much cooling you have , if tryed ( stuck my pc outside in - 37 C* wether and managed to OC my p3 1ghz to 1.250 or something) Hope those links help

yeah..i have a GF2 MX400 with 64 megs of ram. I overclocked it, but it doesnt really get you much more performance. Its kinda old, but the only game i play that stutters with it is BF1942.

Sounds the the exact card I used to run... on my old comp. From what I've learned from various places around the web, OC'ing the core on those is useless because its already bottlenecked at the memory, so OC'ing the memory on those is more beneficial... Hope that helps you in your quest for the last frame.
