Default MAJOR DISTRESS!! 9800pro screwed????

aight guys, need some help. i have a 9800pro flashed to a 9800xt 128mb. my brother took my computer to a LAN last night. He got there, and plugged in his monitor and the monitor died instantly. No little orange light or anything. so i came home and got my monitor. So i come into my room today (after i got back from work this morn, in that time had put my computer back in my room) hook everything up and boot up and the color is totaly screwed. All there are are greens and blues. Everything is displayed in either green or blue. It boots up fine and gets into windows fine, but the color is just in green and blue. I just reinstalled the drivers and no change. The thing that is wierd is that it will show the windows 2000 screen in the different colors like whites and blues and reds and stuff, but as son as it goes to the normaly blue background login screen, everything is in blues and greens. could it be that my graphics card is screwed? or could it be the L12 mod that i did to it and my cpu is screwed????i need some help guys!!!

wow that is one of the craziest things ive heard in a long time. First thing to do to eliminate the possibilty of it being your proc switch the card out with another one. If its your proc then you know what to do. If its your vid card then do the following:
a: Revert back to the original 9800pro bios
b: Replace cooler/ thermal compound
c: Try a differnt power line from the psu and unplug all fans lights un-needed items
d: try a differnt monitor lol

I've gotten some weird things with my X-800Pro lately when I would reboot sometimes, that I believe are driver related..something a format would have fixed..but I have it in another rig now and the weird artifacting I was getting is gone now.

Things I tried, didn't help... but might help you

Setting AGP to 67MHZ.
New Drivers.
Increasing AGP voltage, and then lowering it.
Using a different molex connector from the power supply (It is plugged in all the way right?)
NOTusing ATI tool..this seemed to help some, cause I had it set too booot at default and then for 550x500
for 3-D apps. Changing clock frequency or resolution would always bring up the glitches..

aight guys update: i figured out what it was, the psu was causing it. Ive got a bunch of led fans, and cc's and other things all running at once, with only a 400watt powmax to back me up, tried a differnt psu, and it fixed it, kinda. i was putting to much load on a single wire. Running the HDD's and 9800xt on the same line isnt too smart....duh WDoG!! My dad happen to buy a new PSU yesterday and is letting me have it (YAY FOR POPS!!) so i put it all in there and it messed up my primary HDD....Crap.....ran spinrite 6 and its been running fine now. im one it typing right now. wierd though. Thanks guys for the help, i thought i had fried my graphics card....expencive mistake. thanks again

Great, dude. I was about to guide you through a blind VGA BIOS flash reversion and everything.

Another real world event showing how important a high-quality & capable PSU really is.
