    |  Metal bar on 6800GT? Just bought my PNY 6800GT. On the top of the card there seems to be a metal bar that runs across. Is this abnormal?

| Yes, that is extremely abnormal. Box the card up and send it to me immediately. I shall check it out and return it to you when I am done with my analysis. Nah, it's perfectly normal. You can still send it to me if you want, though.  |

Their only good stuff happens when they Asus builds the PCBs for them when their orders go to high. Otherwise they're just videocards that work.

Nope. I'd return that for a BFG or Asus 6800GT. FYI, CompUSA will usually accept an open box return. Simply because current generation PNY cards have a very high failure rate. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
