| Yep straight form the horses mouth. The 6200 can use system memory aswell as its own onboard, allowing a greater amount of memory at a smaller cost....I presume. LINKAGE HERE for nVidia, TechReport, and Anandtech Here a neat lil picci from Anandtechs' review. Note well - 1 memory module. That said, it looks ATIs X300 in the face..and laughs. ![]() Courtesy of Anandtech. | ||

| your point? the 6200 is the 5200's replacement... it woops the ATI equivalent and will soon be a $120 part that is retail saled (sue my grammar) for $100.. it beats out the 5200 for OEM machines and those that condem it will never buy it; but for those that buy eMacs for gaming will at least be getting something better | ||

| you have to admit though, it IS a cool concept...even the casual gamer will be able to enjoy water and lighting effects that they would never normally see except in a review screencap...but then again it'll be just like review screencaps with the framerate it gets... | ||

| I just bought a PNY 6800 GT for $362 including shipping. Does that seem like a good deal? I've got my custom home made rigged up video card cooler that I think'll perform nicely while I overclock that hoe. Let's just say it's a big upgrade from my geforce 2. ![]() It'll come in soon, but I'll on vacation. http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProduc...133-116&depa=1 | ||

| Weak, nVidia dissapoints with low-end once again.. As presumed, a low-end solution should be slightly dissapointing.. Or else higher-end cards would have no pourpose, these low-end cards are excellent in games like Max Payne and proficient enough to play Halo or HL2 on med-low settings depending on your preference of speed-vs-beauty. | ||

| budget g-cards are pointless in my opinion........theres no reason to spend money on them.........if your building a machine for grandma and grandpa, then but an old Geforce 2 MX 400 in it, they are not gonna notice the difference between that and the 6200. just doesnt make change... and if you are poor, then dont WASTE your money, just save it up for something decent | ||

not true, what if hes a casual gamer? The 6200 NON gay cache e fied version is a decent card for the penny, and it would do decent in todays games at 800x600 at med settings. And what if you just want to be able to play the games? Its a decent card and it ownz all other budget cards. Id rather have one over the 9600 pro now. Bust still its a lame card, but not bad for the casual gamer | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Its lame in the essence of NEW technology, but still about half as powerful ( give or take) as a stock 9800SE.. But for the price, its a tough call, being that the price-range of $80-120 ( Ultra?) offers only comparable performance to the cheap, more taxing technology of yore. | ||
