9600 Aiw Help!

OK i just ordered a ATI AIW 9600xt online from newegg.com and about an hour after seeing that it did not have a DVI output scared me because I am using an HDTV as the monitor for my new computer. My TV has the red blue and green inputs that an hdtv has and DVI, is there anyway i can get the hdtv to work with my computer or am i going to have to run at a low resolution?

Or would i be able to use the S-video output, would this make 1080x 768 readable?

I'd get on the phone to NewEgg right now and ask them to cancel the order. I think you've still got some time before they finalize the order to change it.

As far as the HDTV/DVI/S-Video question...I've never had an HDTV so I wouldn't know. There are some other pimps around that would be able to hook you up but again, I'd hop on the phone to NewEgg and get that straightened out first.

theres an optional adapter that you can purchase that will work. some models of the card do come with it and it supports both DVI and HDTV. read the manual.

Ok i think i found a way it might work after frantically searching for answers.

On newegg i found a vga to dvi adapter so this is better now
