Default g-card???plz read and reply!!

OK, here it goes, i have an MSI Ti4200 128 mb, i thought it had VIVO but i wasnt smart enough to check before i bought, and then after Fed EX took 2 weeks (never going fed ex again) to get me my baby i was like well crap, but im not dissapointed that much, i love the card great card, but i would like VIVO, i wanna hook playstation 2 or like a VCR up to my computer, i have a Gigabyte GA-7VAXP rev 1.1, its a great mobo love it, the part i like is 8x agp, now when i bought my msi i they had no came out with the 8x version of it, so i was oblivious to the 8x graphics cards, neways, i want go get vivo mainly just to play ps2 on it or a VCR, i read that review that was posted on here about all of those 8x g-cards, interesting, and i have also read that 8x REALLY does not help in ur graphics that much, so what i am asking is....IS it worth it to buy a new 8x agp card for the vivo, i want one that can be over clocks good, stable, and has the adapters for what im looking for. I like the msi becuase it has that 1 to 4 adapter that has the vidio in......so plz help me with my dicision.........should i just stay with this g-card, or is three another way i can get vid in????
plz help and reply!!

What about just adding a tv card to your rig?
I put an ATI tv card and play playstation and have my vcr hooked up alaong with cable.

Currupt Joker hit it right on, get a tv tuner card, they have loads of differant ones, just look...
Even if you had a Ti4280 (agp8x revision of the ti 4200)
Its not powerful enough to even make good use of AGP 8x, dont bother with a new card, just get a tuner card and youll be set WDog

Hmm, I'd like to see a comparison of 4X and 8X AGP. I think the jury still hasn't decided on whether there's a significant improvement between 2X and 4X, for that matter. Most tweak guides I read seemed to say that 4X wasn't worth the slight performance gain, as it tended to be quite unstable.
