I would like to benchmark my card but im not real sure where i can get any at...someone throw a link my way or tell me where i can benchmark it at?....and anyone got any pointers for me...or maybe a tweak guide somewhere online that will help me set this bad boy up for optimal performance....im not really interested in OC'ing it, just getting the most out of it... and before someoen says search the forums i did, and couldnt find anything, unless i didnt search for the rite thing...but then again im new to real power ![]() doh! forgot this systems specs..... | Apex Tech God | Zerodude, when benchmarking your vidcard, it's commonplace to turn down all the fancy graphic options to get the best 3DMark result. With all the goodies enabled (like anisotrophic filtering, FSAA, etc.), it will definitely result in lower scores. Of course, when it's time for gaming, you can bump stuff back up and enable all the eye-candy features. For me, the newest games slow down a helluva lot when FSAA is enabled; even to unplayable levels on my GeForce3 (at least at the resolution I want to play at, 1024 x 768 x everything at high/32-bit)...sucks, I know. But with your GF4, you can probably at least enable 2X FSAA, maybe even 4X FSAA or Nvidia's Quincunx (or wtf it's called) mode in your vidcard advanced properties, and still play the game smoothly...FSAA makes a big visual difference! Everything will look much cleaner and smoother. But you need the horsepower. Have fun, ya lucky bum!

| Banned | goto www.guru3d.com and check out the download section for the 4X.XX detonator drivers hidden features reg hack and download rivatuner from there tweaking tools section and play with it (cant link you its a linkless site). My precious Ge3 Ti 500 acheives 9330 3Dmarks with the spectacular new detonator drivers, 41.09 (ftp://download.nvidia.com/Windows/41...09_win2kxp.exe) I got 8400 before them with 30.82, its quite a boost... try out the drivers i bet $5 you get better performance.. |

| Fuel Hoe-lio | Usually when I play the games, I start out on low settings, then work my way up tweaking things here and there (resolution, detail, FSAA, etc.). Sometimes it is a hit and miss, using various combinations of the settings. Everyone has different taste on what they want to see in the game (resolution vs. model detail). Good luck

![]() | Well I run my Ti4200 with FSAA and AA at 2x running all my games at 1024x768 and it runs a little choppy. Playable but choppy. That doesnt bother me tomuch cause even with them at just 2x its still very sharp. Your Ti4400 should be able to run at 2x really smooth like Coel said. Running it at 4x would probably be the same as mine at 2x but I dont know, just a guess. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | FSAA is one of those real performance killers. I have it disabled for my Radeon 8500. It just is not worth the performance hit to me

![]() | The only reason I run it on mine is so that GTA3 looks better. If I run it with everything off it doesnt look good anymore. It looked good to me before I turned the stuff on but now if I go back it looks like crap. lol oh well. The game doesnt blur anymore on my flat panel monitor either. |
