Can you tell me what this is for? I assume its for GForce's right? Dont wanna d/l it to my 9700 but I do have a TI 4200.
Dont want to assume to much cuz u know what happens when u assume.

I haven't really tried too hard to troubleshoot it yet, but the 4x.xx series of Det's cause my card to crash when it installs. I ran the 3x.xx remover from Guru3D but they still didn't work. No worry's, the 31.40's work fine. Just wondering if anyone else had or heard of that problem. I know it's an issue or they wouldn't have written the 3x.xx remover. I have the Ti-4200 128MB Golden Sample.

Hrm, lets think this over NoSlak... Seeing how they are from nvidia, I think it is safe to say that they aren't for ATI hardware.

Now I'm not saying that they aren't for ATI hardware, but maybe you should try and load those drivers into your ATI and maybe you will find out why they are called "detonator drivers". :eek

Yes, I have problems with the 4x.xx driver set, it hard locked me when playing HL and spawned my hard drive thrash issues... so I run the latest 3x.xx drivers off eVGA's site (my card's manufacturer) and its been smooth sailing since I went back.

yeah, the new series screwed me, i have been able to troubleshoot around it most of the time, but today's release caused 3DMark not to be able to run, now that is a mad sign! So i reverted, i can run 3DMark now but im getting the same old massive lags in BF1942. what a pain in the arse.

I'm running 40.82 and haven't had any problems with it....It raised my 3dmark about 77 marks too.......might haveta try the new ones....

I havent had any problems with my ti4200. Its running great I just installed the new det's and im about to go play a few games to see.

Well, my suffering I have been though is already legendary. As for HELL, spent five years there and got let out with a good boy certificate and a lifetime Rx supply of Motrin and Paxil.

Yeah, I know it's a rogue driver or an address problem, but haven't taken the time to run it down. I will probably wait until the Christmas break to play with it.

Just finished installing the new drivers on three computers...no real difference in 3dMark Scores.

I can't get the Det 40's to work with RTCW or any other Q3A engine games. Everything else is great.......just fuks my entire gaming up cuz I can't even open the friggen games. Some Can't initialize OpenGl prob. It sux.

well i got 41.09 on this faboulous Ge3 Ti 500 and it shot my scores from 8800 to 9300 3dmarks so im satisfied, the games seem a tad darker, but hey look at your monitor controls: BRIGHTNESS/CONTRAST gee i wonder what those are for
