Default ATI Catalyst Control Center

ATI released thier new control panel, the Catalyst Control Center, for the catalyst drivers a few days ago.

Being somewhat adventureous I downloaded and installed it. It looks pretty and it has a few more functions, but it seems to be a little unstable at times and draws a bit heavier on the ol' resources. I'm debating on going back to the old interface, but then again, this IS the way the future ATI drivers are going to be controlled.

Has anyone else here installed it and have you had any problems?

EDIT: I've soft modded my 9800NP to almost XT speeds using Rage3d and the ATI Catalyst Control Center to no ill effect......so far.

C'mon folks, I can't be the only guy here who's using this thing.

Or did I do something really dumb that would have been better kept to myself?

I'm not going to be getting them until there is an Omega version since my 9800SE isn't flashed to Pro, so I rely on the soft mod.

I just used the Omega ATI Catalyst Control Panel and will stick with them since Doom 3 is running pretty good .

Kind of off topic and maybe a dumb question, but do the Omega drivers seem to work ok on AIW cards?

It would seem to me that you would lose some features or capabilities running the Omega's on an AIW.

I tried the drivers and I liked the little animation of the car. It seemed to lock up a couple times but it was cool.
