Default My Mates X800!!

Hi,

On thursday night i was really bored so i desided to change my watercooling pipes and stick the waterblock onto my lovely new X800.

It just happend the sun was pouring in my room and i had a migrane 20 min into starting.

So.......i pumped all the water out the cooler and put it on its side when i heard running water.....the radiator wasnt empty.... and from below the agp to the bottom of the mobo got soaked !!!!!

Now i dried it all off (this has happend before ) and tubed it all up , switched it on and.....YES it worked.......for a while.

I ran ati tool and was getting some nice temps (cant remeber them just now) then started up AOL and *poof* the monitor switched off.

Now the monitor wont come on but the pc is switching on.

So.....what you guys things up , mobo or gfx card ??

NOTE: The graphics was NOT in the pc when the water was spilled and NO water went near the AGP slot.

Also would i be able to claim insurance for accidental damage since it wasnt on purpose i really thought the radiator would have been empty ?

Because you used AOL, your whole system is infected and most likely dead. Not really but AOL sucks. Check your refresh rates.

When you turn it on can you see the post screen?

Also try taking the card out and put it back in it might be seated incorrectly.

can you put a new/different vid card in your mobo? or put your x800 into a different mobo and see if either/both work?
