Default Geforce3 Ti200 Heatsink Fan Busted

The heatsink fan on my Ti200 refuses to work. It's plugged in correctly, and all the software drivers are installed but it just doesn't budge. I tried taking it out and hooking it up to a 9 volt to see if the fan was broken and it twitches a bit but doesn't start up. Anyone got some ideas?

new fan?

if you got it off the vid card, it should be easy enough to mount a new one on there, but if i'm talking out my ass, feel free to tell me.

I thought about that. I have an old cpu heatsink fan that might fit, but the fan for the video card is held on funny. There are two plastic pegs going through the board diagonally that go through the fan. Like screws only pegs. I can't figure how to get them off. I'm thinking about just getting a spare 80mm fan and mounting it on a pci slot. Maybe not the best solution but acceptable.

you fan is deadz0rz, rig up a new fan that will cool it down or get a new heatsink/fan from svc.com or somewhere else

lol - I'm actually thinking about using a little piece of plastic used to mount an old pci card and I wanted something to keep the fan in place. I have some automotive adhesive but it's too rubbery to stay in place. So what did I whip out to mount the fan? Supaglu. Oh, and duct tape and super glue fix all.
