Seeing as the MSI 6800 Ultra is 610 dolars on newegg and is much more scarce than say the x800, which even CompUSA has, I would go with the x800. Plus it's tons cheaper.

Not only cheaper, the X800 wins a fair share of benchmarks over the 6800 Ultra. Although, I wouldn't buy one of these bad boys this summer. Gonna wait for PCI-E and the rest of the new hardware before I do an upgrade.

When exactly are the PCI-E versions of these new cards coming out? I've seen reports form a good while that these cards are being sampled, but never any estimate of when they will be truely available.

I've heard fourth quarter 2004 for all the new stuff to come out. Not sure about those cards specifically.

X800 Xt, faster, less power consuming and cheaper
