Default Adding new Video Card Causes Disk Error

Right now im running on a 6300(AGP) that i've had for a while now, recently i was given an old school BFG OCed 6800 (AGP) from a friend. After opening the machine and inserting the video card already, i press the power button (making sure the video card and everything else is plugged in as well) and i get a beep. and a disk error please insert disk to continue or something of that sort. I've been thinking it may be the power supply? but not so sure. This is a used eMachine W4885, the only thing added is the 6300. Any help?

Make sure you didn't knock any connections when installing the new card. Reseat everything.
