Default Special Edition HD 3870?

I'm trying to gauge my 3870 against other cards to see where it rates. I usually check hwbot.org, but my card is not listed:

hwbot.org - Radeon HD 3870 specifications and performance analysis.

See, they just have the 512MB one.

I have the Komplett.ie - Sapphire Radeon HD 3870 1GB GDDR4, PCI-Express 2.0, 2xDVI/HDMI, Lite-Retail with VaporX cooling Technology

I'm pretty sure it's not the X2, because there's no X2 anywhere on the box. Any idea where it rates?

I installed it in another system. Here's the GPU-Z

I think I'm going to get the 3870 X2 for my R2-M5 update instead.

It will rate at slightly faster than the standard 3870 basically.

Don't go for a 3870X2, they had issues and a single 4870 will be faster and cheaper.

4870's are at least $100 more.

What about two of these in CrossFire?

Look for my results in the Benchmark threads, I know I've got results up for '06 and Vantage. I'm running two of those in Crossfire. They run very cool and quiet.

Can't say I was very impressed with my CrossFire 3870 setup, but I never did get to the root of all the problems.

A 4870 is faster and about the same price as two 3870s.
