| Apex Advanced Techie | I have a EVGA 768-P2-N831-AR GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB but unfortunately they have have stopped selling the card but I wanted to get another card and set up my SLI but can I still do that with a diff model card or do they have to be the same? Like can I get an 8800 Ultra or even one of the 200 series and it would work? | |

| Sempr0n? | You cannot mix and match different models of cards with SLi. Only ATi's CrossFire has this ability. As far as I know, the card can be any manufacturer, but it must have the same vidbios as the card it is being paired with. So you could buy a Gigabyte 8800GTX for example and it would work fine with your EVGA card. | |
