Default cheap video capture

I'm making a movie at school (LOTR in 15 minutes or less...all three movies@5 mins a piece.)

Unfortunately, I have neither access to video editing equipment, or a digital video camera. I have a friend with Premiere, so I really just need to get the video into the computer somehow, and I'm good to go.

Budget is tight, as we are all poor high school students, so does anyone know of a cheap video capture card with either s-video in or RCA video in?

I found this, and checked resellerratings they've got a 8.55.

Think that's what I need?

Cant say that particular brand/model per se but that type of card should work fine as long as your not expecting high quality. Are you going to try to use footage from all three movies to sum them up in 15 mins???? If so you could rip the video into MPG with a DVD ripper and then edit - skip the video capture all together.

nope, we rewrote the script (there's 5 of us) and we're acting it out. It's sort of a spoof, as well as a shortening.
