![]() | Install your WDM drivers, for me that makes a Difference. And try playing a video, you may have the overlay controls set up to play only your movie files that you play. If you do, then you prolly won't see your desktop like you are seeing noe.

| Apex Elite Tech | Check that the reagion settings are set for pal or local USA/canada TV signal styles. Also check the vid cards connections and wires, drivers also help. Good luck.

| Apex Tech Maniac Supreme | The first thing would be to select display #2 in your screen shot so we can see the TV settings. Try starting the TV out at 640x480 or whatever the lowest resolution available is, then move up. You might also look for a setting which overrides the card's display detection for TVs. Just can't recall what it was labeled.

| Apex Tech Maniac Supreme | You might try a different mode such as dual view and see if that registers. Also, like I said before, a screenshot like the one above would be helpful if the right display (number 2 in this case) were the one selected. edit: Have you tried the composite line? You know, just in case. What is showing up on your TV?

| Apex Tech Maniac Supreme | Ok, have you checked your TV's settings as suggested before? If you haven't look at your remote of the TV's button panel for a button titled TV/Video, Source or just Video. It'll be something like that. You need to make sure the TV is set to the right video input.

| Editor/Reviewer/LED Guru | I never had a problem out of my setup.. I run 2 monitors and a TV via S-Video-RCA adapter all I had to do was reboot PC with TV connected so windows would know to activate it, got to Display properties and then click extend desktop .... popped right up.. I am wondering if it may be something with the TV... or card... not sure.. Good luck though.. |

| Apex Tech Maniac Supreme | I know I asked this before, but, have you tried using a composite line? You know the RCA type connection. Perhaps it's as simple as a short in your s-video cable or a malfunction in the TV's S-video port. edit: I found the option to turn on the video out functions without relying on the card detecting the TV. It's in the GeForce side menu under Troubleshooting. It's labeled "My connected TV does not appear in this list". I think you have to restart for it to take effect. I don't know if it'll really make any difference though, but it's worth a try.

![]() | uhm, yeah. I think you have your system set up to only display video. as in a movie file, hence where it says overlay: Video. And you need to reboot with the tv already connected, like Twizted said, AND you also NEED to make sure that the TV itself is putting a 75 ohm load on the Video line when it is hooked up. For my Ti 4600 I HAVE to hook up the card through my vcr in order to get the signal to show up. Why? Probably the whole load thing. May I also suggest bypassing whatever you are using to hook it up, and eliminate an "middleman" so to speak.

| Apex Tech Maniac Supreme | That's odd, I've never messed with the overlay controls, but I just looked and Video Overlay is the only one I have in the menu.
