I will have to agree with Clown on this one, I am highly doubting there is an adapter for PCI to ISA; reason being that the buses[only one S by the way ] are different and operate in different frequencies and voltages. To make such an adapter would be a huge engineering project, and I highly doubt someone would do such a thing when PCI is just about to be outdated. ISA is an outdated bus, as is PCI.

lol this is almost like Red02's AGP to PIII adapter idea

Does your mobo have any ISA slots on it? Nothing wrong with ISA, I still use the old Sound Blaster Vibra 16's and the 3Com ISA LAN's. Still supported in XP.

Thats what I was figuring... Although I do know that the ISA is used only for power on this card. Anyone know how much power an ISA socket puts out? Just thinking i can solder wire onto the pins and find an alternate power source

ISA buses also have a different frequency they operate on as well as a different voltage. Also, in BIOS you need ISA support, so the system could find anything on the ISA bus, and the way of calls to the bus and so on, like they said, way to complicated, and theres a reason no one has created an adapter for it. Cheaper to just buy a new card thats PCI.

Take advantage of a disabled person; sell them the ISA TV card with this sales punchline:
"The smaller slot size is the latest in micro technology"

Buy a PCI TV Tuner with the money.

Searched to this thread and thought this newbie might add this site:

www.plxtech.com

And onto " PCI - ISA adaptor" search on that site.

The thing that may assist here is the PCI 9050 chip. As A Newbie, I get stuck at this point but thought the folk here might find this useful.
