     |  OC'ing a ASUS Geforce FX 5200 Does any one know how to OC a ASUS Geforce FX 5200? I got it for X-mas...and would like to OC it... also any good reviews or user oppions on it? |

| http://www.overclockers.com.au/techstuff/a_coolbits/ Read the above link - step by step instructions. Basically download coolbits, run and mess with some sliders. Did a very tame OC on my FX5900XT and went from 4600 3Dmark03 to 5117.....not bad and I didnt push it NEAR as far as they did in the reviews I was reading.

  | Sorry to tell you this, but you got the world's only DX9 GF4 MX440. The 5200 is a stinker as cards go, but here also we find the spirit of PR-no matter what you got, smack it up and pimp it out, cause it ain't a biggest baddest contest. It's all about doing the best with what you got. Crank that puppy up. |

| yea, I had one of those sticking 5200...immideitly got the 5600 after, and now, I'm keeping my eyes on Radeon 9800XT.... just need about $700...lol I once got my 5200 to 325Mhz before graphic distortions...and on stock coolers....

| I Oc'ed it and got nice fps out of it. I think I got the engiune to about 340 something round there and got the memory ti about 425 or something...didnt write it down, and its out of this system. But that was on 4x mode. If I were to use it in 8x would I get a better FPS and a higher OC stable frequency?
