Default Catalyst drivers

I bought myself a used 9 series radeon to replace my (fully adequate) GF4 Ti 4200.

What are the best Catalyst drivers right now? I know the 3.9's were pretty buggy at release, are they fixed? Or should I stick with 3.8 or even 3.7?

Let me know, I am running 3.7's at the moment.

By the way, 15000 in '01, 5400 in '03, and 37700 in Aqua'03 right out of the box no tweaking or oc (of the GPU).

Happy so far!

I jumped from 3.8 to 3.10. Both have been perfectly stable for me.

I'm running the 3.8 right now. Very stable, didnt have any problems like many people did. They actually helped my games, at some spots gta would freeze but not with 3.8 never froze again.

I'm running the 3.8 right now but based upon the feedback, I will probably end up loading the 3.10 this evening to see how my rig likes it.

3.10 is the best release yet! They just keep squeezing more and more performance. Without quality loss, I might add.

3.10 is so far my favorite drivers for my 9800 pro. no problems so far and seems to run games and apps just fine and smooth.

The 3.10's caused lockups and game crashes. I went back to 3.8's and everything is fine.

I won't dis the 3.10 drivers, they just don't work on my rig.
