Help w/a Cheap Card

I need to upgrade the vid card in my 8-year old son's computer. It's an old machine, running an AMD K62-550 on an ASUS P5-A mobo. He likes to play NHL2003 which runs OK, but he can't play Madden. I can choose from 6 different chipsets for between $50 and $75 shipped. I don't really want to spend more than that so can I get some suggestions from the list below? Also, would the FX5200 do the best with newer games?

9000 - 64meg
9000pro - 128
9100 - 128
9200 - 128
9200se - 128
FX5200 128

From that list, in that price range, I would get the 9000pro.

Either that or a good company 9200. I like both cards equally well.

You can do what I do, only $30 bucks too. Just buy any 32mb video card, or if that is the one you already have, switch the mode to OpenGL, then the only problem would be ram

Also, you could probably find a used GF4 Ti 4200 in that price range. That would be better than anything you have listed.

I'd say get him a 9200 or a 9600, but if you don't want to break the budget you could go with a fx5200 they run $60-120.

Well, it looks like I found a GF4 Ti4200 for $69 shipped. I assume that will blow the other options out of the water?

Knee-ill Apex Advanced Techie	You can do what I do, only $30 bucks too. Just buy any 32mb video card, or if that is the one you already have, switch the mode to OpenGL, then the only problem would be ram .
