![]() | Yo, nVidia is giving away FREE Call of Duty (full version) with it's geforce 5900 and 5900SE cards. I put this note here because I want to know WHO produces the BEST graphics cards out of the company lineup offering this deal...ie: who ;has best IQ, who has FASTEST memory, and who overclocks the best? http://www.nvidia.com/object/IO_10304.html http://www.nvidia.com/object/nzone_c...ty_bundle.html Here is one deal that caught my eye: http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProduc...9&searchdepa=1 The companies offering this deal include; BFG, eVGA, MSI, PNY, Gainward, Leadtek, XFX, and Gigabyte. Any recommendations as to which company should get the business? Jazzyjazz |

![]() | LOL...I've got ATI 9700 running overclocked to 303/297 from stock 276.75/270 with 8 pipelines running and not just 4...I LOVE this card! My reason for nVidia??? I've got a $200.00 pair of 3d Stereo glasses and ATI doesn't support 3d in their drivers. Jazz |

![]() | obviously it's ATI.. the 9800XT has an AT LEAST 500/600 and it comes with the full version HL2... why would you want anything else?? the only thing I like about nVidia is their VPU coolers... they look PIMPING... but on the other hand... you could always get the Vantec Iceberq 4.... anyways... ATI comes on top for both game and speed... AND is currently the only mass production manufacuter of the FASTEST Video card on the market (comparing FX5900Ultra and Radeon9800XT) but sorta depends on what game you play... some engine favors the nVidia and some ATI IE.. HL2 Favors ATI VPU's

| Sam-Hoe-rai N-Hoe-mad | Uhh dude... The 9600 and 9800 come with "Half Life 2" (well, it gets to you somehow when it comes out in March). Call of Duty is sweet. Another cool 'un. The Audigy 2 X-Gamer (limited edition) comes with 5 games (Splinter Cell, the latest Tomb Raider, Jedi Academy, Halo, and Rainbow Six: Raven Shield). Check it out here: Yeah, so I work at Fry's

You guys can post sites that show one is superior to the other, but I'll only counter with another that shows different. The 5950 may even have an edge with some new drivers that are being readied. As always, look for the best deal that provides all the bells and whistles you are wanting. Both cards are great. My Voodoo2 came with TombRaider. TombRaider rocked with that card. |
