| it mostly happens when i play HL2 Episode One. But the game will run fine for a good 10 15 minutes, then suddenly the monitor will turn off. I don't know, maybe its the video card running too hot? or not enough juice from the psu? any suggestions or advice please. I forgot to mention the power supply im currently running is a 450 watt Codegen psu | ||

| Look to see if the heatsink on the card is full of dust. Also just touch it while its running to see it its too hot. If not, then its prolly a good bet its the PSU. You are on the right track, now to isolate it. Good luck! Let us know how it turns out! | ||

| im pretty sure that it is a heat issue i have a friend that had i traded a nvidia 6800xt for my old 6200 after playing heroes for 10 mins it would shut down, he put in the 6200 and everthings ran fine . i put the 6800 in my rig and im running at 42c so it has to be the heat | ||
