Cross Fired 2900PRO or 8800 GTS

I want eventually play crysis when it comes out on pretty high settings.

Which would be better set up.

MSI 640 mb 8800 gts

Or

2x 2900 Pro

or Even 2 x x2900xt

I want it soon and money is a factor, If I was to get 8800 gts again id only want one but because i have never ran duels before i was thinking of a cheaper card like the 2900 pro in crossfire form.

Is there and nVidia setups that would be cheap and better.

Er, what is your budget exactly, because 2x 2900xt is at least 800 dollars.

Well budget wise i was thinking $380.00 for video card.

If i was going to SLi something i would do it at different times. The reason why I wouldnt want to get two 8800 is because the 8900s are supposed to come out real soone. ( are they not )?

Another question, what would the advantage be of 2x 8800 GTS 320mb over 1x 8800 gts 640mb besides power in numbers, what actually am I being helped with.

I Use a 20 inch screen and a 17 Obviously only game on one, is this even relevant?
