Default Uh oh.....

Alright well i recently was traveling to a friends house with my computer and my 19 inch IBM G96 monitor. My mom was driving because i am not of legal age yet and she stopped extremely fast at a four way and the monitor made a loud band against the back of my seat. Upon arriving at my friends house I did some tests, benchmarked my pc nothin seemed odd, but now when im at my house ive noticed after being Flashbanged on HL:Counter-Strike my monitor Goes white, then as the flash wears off everything becomes purple, then red, then and orangish red. Anyone know whats going on?

[Edit] checked the cable in the back and noticed it was rather loose. tightened it up and so far no probs, but if I run into anything I'll post here again.

A damaged CRT can do many things, I'v seen color problems that cause constant problems, but after a total white the tubes color is distorted. My guess is that one of the Radeon tubes is damaged and that means your SHOL..
But before we jump to tossing it. reinstall your drivers, reinstal the game, get monitor drivers, if under Warnity ask ibm, Also try checking your refresh rate and resoulution. and try a digeuss in monitor controls.
Well if any of this helps you then a Good luck is always there.

Good luck
