Exclamation Best Buy has 9800 Non-Pros....

....for $229 with out a rebate!

I was there today and they had 4 or 5 on the shelves.

This card is the "Built by ATI" version and may have the Infineon memory, but don't let that dissuade you. It's still a hell of a performer regardless.

Just a heads up for those interested.

Foe,
Is it the 9800SE or the 9800 non-pro?

The 9800 non-pro, not the POS 9800SE.

I know better than to even suggest that ripoff product.

(P.S. Sorry about not posting this in the correct forum, realized what I did too late.)

Great price then, foe sho..
I checked the site and it's not there, or I'm just missing it. It must be a store special...

is the 9800se w/ the 256bit bandwidth not a good deal if you can find it for under 200, which is pretty easy, then all you have to do is enable the other 4 pipelines and you have a 9800

plz correct me if I am wrong, but the 4 pixel pipelines of the SE is a severe hardware limitation. cant be changed without building a new GPU and/or PCB. now tell me, do u build graphics cards?

i got a fx 5900 from best buy for 200. thats your best deal right there, especially since the card overclocks so high (if you have an overclockable mainboard). I was able to push nearly 500/1000 mhz out of this thing at 1.8v AGP and its not even the ultra...

but if you want it you'll have to wait. its currently sold out cuz it was such a great deal for a great card!
