| Systema I am going to with Supersteve9219 on this why not hook both monitors up to the 7900gt you should have two connectors on the back of your video card, i would think your 7900gt has 2 DVI connectors or 1 VGA analog and one DVI. If you have this option you need to have one monitor that use the VGA cable and the other using a DVI cable, of course this depends on your monitors most monitors today have both types of connectors one being VGA and the other being DVI. Now if your monitors do not have DVI and your video card only supports DVI connectors you will need to get a adapter or cable to convert your VGA cable to DVI. Now if both your monitors have DVI connectors and you video card has two DVI connectors on the back of your video cards you will need to have 2 DVI cables 1 each going from 1 monitor to each one of the connectors on the back of your video card. Here is what the adapter should look like link and the link to the cable ones. Here is a nice guide to show you how to setup a dual monitor setup link. I have been running a dual setup for awhile using my ATI X800XL 256MB AGP and it has work great for me i also bought a nice little program that works great for running the dual setup here that was recommended by a couple of the staff members here on pcApex. Hope this helps you out if you have any more question do not be afraid to ask that is why we are here to try and help out. | ||
