.......wow that sounds wierd. Try reseeding the video card a few times and then try reseeding your memory, and then your cpu if it keeps happening. Those are the 3 basic things that usually happen when there are sirens.

Well it cant be cpu or memory or the other card wouldnt work either however i think it might well be the contacts on the other two cards are a bit fussy on the motherboard. Is that possible??
Anyway gonna give it a go tonite try reseeding em a few times. Really cant think what else it could be.

Cant be the cpu or memory dude cause the other card boots up in both these 2 machines first time and its same card as the 2 that dont boot up. This is definately some strange s**t. Im pulling my hair out cause i dont even know where to start tackling this prob.

PSU may be a little on the weak side for that setup.

Considering this post is from 3 months back, I am doubting he is active anymore with the 6 posts he had accumulated.

Now, in order to change the AGP speed from 8x to 4x you must change it in the bios. What motherboard do you have? Go to the manufacturers page or look in the manual that came with the motherboard on how to change the settings.

i have a dfi lanparty nf2 ultra, i looked on the tyan website about moving the jumpers but that didnt seem to work, everything else in the computer seems to be working however i cant get into the bios because i cant connect the monitor without the graphics card, is there jumpers on the mobo aswell that i can change?
