More 9600Pro !

Can someone confirm this but apparently from what ive read on this forum and other places that the ram on the 9600 varies from card to card and some is better than others for over clocking, anyways is there a certain type or brand to look out for when buying?

I got Ã‚â€œK4D261638E-TC33 300MHz(Samsung)Ã‚â€ The long skinny ram, most other 9600 pro have the square ram? Can anyone enlighten me?

If I'm not mistaken, the 9600Pro runs its memory at 300mhz. That Samsung page said the max on that RAM is 300, so I wouldnt expect to much of an overclock out of it.

I have regular sapphire radeon 9600.. with hynix ram chips.. dunno ima try to find the specs

Yeah they put crappy ram on that video card, my ati radeon 9600 pro has memory rated all the way to 350.
