Default 7600gt vivo

Hey.

I sold my 7800gt, to have some cash to buy some tuba etude books, and bought a 7600gt.

Now, it came with a video out cable. It has all the standard hdtv outputs as well as s-video and component.

Now, even though they are labeled as out, can I use them as in's? I really want to hook up my consoles so I can play them on my lcd.

as long as the card's box/manual states VIVO .....
the same s-video out can be used as in ...

VIVO = Video In, Video Out

I really have no idea about that card in particular, but I know a lot of TV tuners have a pretty significant lag, so consoles might be out of the picture

I believe VIVO is strictly an ATi technology. I've never heard of an nVidia card with video in before... though not say they don't exist. My X800XT has VIVO, and it's cable has both composite and s-video in and out cables. If you are able to swing it... I'd suggest getting an LCD that has composite/s-video inputs. My roommate has one and he uses it to watch TV on it... the nice thing is he doesn't need a tuner card!

I think my post kinda proved Jobi wrong, little extreme with the pic.

Anyways.

Well then, does anyone want to find me a nice LCD with composite inputs? For a low price.

My current lcd was about $300

15" HDTV LCD $190.00

21" TFT LCD S-Video/Composite Input $370

15" Viewera LCD with composite inputs $218.00

And sorry for trying to help before. I thought VIVO was a feature that only ATI used... but I guess the truth comes out in my newbness. Guess I'll just keep my mouth shut went people need help.
