| Hi, I have a 9800SE graphics card and want to add a second monitor to my system. How to I go about doing this? There is a monitor socket on the mobo as well... I assume it's slightly more complicated that plugging a second monitor into this. Any advice? Garry | ||

| Setup is a no brainer. I have 1 plugged into my graphics card & 1 to the MOBO connector. If you use Windows XP there is setting for dual monitors under DISPLAY in Control Panel. Also there is a program called Ultramon for multiple displays which is great. I've been using it for several years now & highly recommend it. | ||

| You cannot use your videocard and your mobo's onboard video at the same time, it's one or the other. If your videocard has dual outputs, then use those... but if not, like Master Yunk said, you'll either need a splitter or could even get another videocard. ADD- Ok, just read Chapper's post... I guess you can use both the videocard and the mobo simultaneously. ![]() | ||

| You could always buy a cheapo PCI card on eBay (make sure it has some basic hardware acceleration for DVD and video playback). I went this route when i was running triple mons and it was pretty cool seeing 4GPUs show up in device manager (2x 6600GT 1x Appian Jeronimo Pros with dual GPU) ![]() | ||
