| In order to pave the way for the next generation video cards "PCI Express" hardware manufacturers and software developers need to have some Beta level harware for everyone to test out there future products with. There is a new "Functionality" checking PCI Express Ati card >Here< Colorgraphic has a new card that supports 8 monitors from one card >Here<. The king of Multiple Monitors here, OMG WTF? came to mind when I saw these I liked the multiple GPU's based on the ATi Moblile chips It seems the road to future performance gains may lay in multiple Cpu's and Gpu's for more data throughput. Intel is struggling now as the chip speeds approch 4GHZ next year, major improvements (Read Expensive!!!) will be needed to deal with all the problems getting past that mark on a single CPU. Some of the roadmaps and articles on Amd and Intel both suggest Multiple Cpu's on one chip at lower speeds may be the way to proccess data in the future, and Video cards may follow this path too ![]() | ||
