Anyone wanna sell a 1800+ to 3200+ cpu

(no joke), anyways i got a 9600pro in my computer and becuase of my 1ghz p3 i notice almost no difference from my mx440.

Makes me mad, i just need ot up my mhz a bit and unleash some of its speed for hl2.

3dmark 2001se : 8,500
3d mark 2003 : 2,700 (is that good?)

Mx 440

3dmark 2001se : 4,500 (oc 5,400)
3d mark 2003 : 200

TY: a 9800 256MB will pull about 6k 3D marks on a high end system, so 2700 isn't THAT bad...

I Think pimp_joose had his head on straight,

screw nvidia, i have never had flawless results with their cards. I see ATI is stepping up in the game so im going to go with ATI 9500 Pro, sounds like a great buy. Thanks guys for the advice. I also heard from a mag that Nvidia screwed up their FX chips so they dont really do crap with DX9 so whatever to Nvidia.

All i have to say is go nForce2!

BTW 64 bit processors are getting cheap already

They are not "stepping up in the game". They have redefined the game, rewritten the rules, and handed Nvidia their a$$ in a basket.

Nvidia have been completely off base since the 9700 Pro toppled the GF4 TI 4600 18 months ago.

I am not pro ATI. I am pro whatever gives myself and my friends the best bang for their buck. Frankly, if you are thinking of buying anything other than ATI at the moment ....... you need to give your head a shake.

Yeah 1ghz , i overclocked my p3 to 1.185(super unstable)

ghz t(shows as 1.21)hen overclocked my graphics card to 500Mhz 350mhz and scored 4352(2003), shwing!

Althought my 3d mark score (2001SE) hardly changed.

My specs are : Coppermine
CoreSpeed:1126 mhz
Multiplier: x7.5
FSB:158 mhz

Then 9600 Pro Sapphire Atlantis, 512 mbs of pc-133,nothing special =\

I dont know what nvidia did but they blow now, and i agree with anyone and everyone in this forum that says ATI owns the game right now. So much for Ti4800SE because im on a 9500 Pro. But after i make this sweet deal for this l33t case and a 19 inch monitor.

tycoon im really sorry i wanna but i cant believe you. Your computers memory bandwidth with pc133 ram would cripple it along with its 1.2 ghz processor. Who knows maybe you are telling the truth but on my Anthlon xp 1800+ OCed to 2.2 ghz (effectivly a 2600+ 333 fsb) and a radeon 9600 pro OCed to 350/500 and 512 mg of pc3200 memory i eaked out a 4700. It seems when you overclocked your p3 100mhz and overclocked your radeon you gained 2000 points in 3dmark03. Someone back me up if this sounds wierd to them too.

All i do is flip switches on my motherboard.. this aint BIOS tweaking. (its like 6 switches "oxxoxx = 1.12 ghz") If that changes anything?

If you have never delt with p3 i can understand you, i beat out my friends 1.5 ghz p4 in pcmark with my p3 @ 1.080 Ghz. Its Alot more powerful than most people presume....

Anyways if you can find me anything to prove me rong go for it
