| Apex Master Tech  |  7800GS OC randomly buzzing my 7800GS OC is randomly buzzing, and for no apparent reason. my temps arent high, the watercooling isnt leaking, i inspected the card and nothing seems to be wrong with it...though what worrys me is that the 12v rail (i have a 500w ultra xconnect, been lasting for a long time) is jumping from 12.100 to 12.300 every so often. the buzzing isnt steady, its like its trying to force a beep out. like be beep beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep eeeep beeeeeeeeeeeeeep im pretty sure its the power supply, but does anyone else have any ideas why its doing that? | |

| Apex Master Tech | Re: 7800GS OC randomly buzzing weird, i took the card out and looked around a little more (still cant find anything wrong) and put it back in, and the buzzing stoped...but now my card thinks its a 6600LE? im gonna try and do some aquamark on the card to see if the performance took a hit, but nothing still seems to be wrong with the card...anyone else had this problem? and would BFG take a RMA even if i replaced the heatsink? | |

| Apex Master Tech | Re: 7800GS OC randomly buzzing noooo...the bugger is buzzing again....i already did try cleaning out the drivers with drivercleaner, then reinstalling, and it still does that...checked the connections, reinstalled bios...maybe i should just RMA the card? (thanks to BFG's killer warranty?) | |
