  |  Virus in video card bios Hey guys, I posted a few days ago with a virus i was trying to get rid of, it was one that blocked out all visability and made it impossible to fix the machine. Well, i decided to do it one part at a time. The bios on the video card, a PNY Geforce 4 TI 4400 128mb has the virus. I cant find a bios for it. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find one (not on pny site) and if i can use another companies bios. Thanks Gladiator |

 | are you sure its a virus. I have never heard of a video card virus, so i decided to do a little more searching and I came up with nothing. Are you sure you didnt sort circuit anything?

 | i have heard of it, the 2 people i knew who had it had to get new cards =\ They got it from downloading some "original" drivers........like hacked oenes that suposivly make it go fastyer

| It could just be a currupt bios on the video card but I would doubt that it would curropt at the same time as the hard drive if it was not a virus. Anyhow, I will try and RMA it. Thanks for your help guys |
