nVidia have locked out Coolbits in the 8-series cards. To overclock using nVidia software you have to download nTune from here. It supplements the current control panel, adding a new overclocking and basic benchmarking suite.

MaTtsPc, nTune does have overclocking options, plenty of them...

However, ATi Tool is a better overclocking app, even for nVidia cards. Not sure if it supports the 8 series, but if it does you'll be well away.

Go to Start > nVidia Corporation > nVidia Control Panel. I think you can probably work it out from there.

Dex is correct however, ATi Tool is the better option. On their website though, it states that the latest version (0.26) is not compatible with Radeon X1950 cards. Since the nVidia 8800 series is an entirely new architecture, and they only just started supporting the nVidia 7xxx series, I'm not banking on ATi Tool making friends with your 8800, but try it and see.

Reflux, I don't know where you found that list of supported cards, but the ATi Tool page clearly says:

Quote:
Full support for all ATI and NVIDIA cards. Only X1950 Pro overclocking is not supported.

That was with version 0.26 released on the 8th of December 2006. Were the 8 series Geforces out then?

Overclocking

We used Rivatuner to up the clocks speeds and stressed the cards with 3DMark06 to check stability, these were the overclocking results with stock cooling:

Sparkle 8800GTS 640MB
Core clock: 610MHz (500MHz stock)
+~22%
Memory clock: 1000MHz (800MHz stock)
+~25%

Sparkle 8800GTS 320MB
Core clock: 630MHz (500MHz stock)
+~26%
Memory clock: 1010MHz (800MHz stock)
+~26%

The increased GPU and Memory clocks have a noticeable impact in these Futuremark Benchmarks:
