Seems that some "allegedly genuine" of the G80 series card have made it on to the net :

Are these G80 GT & GTX pictured?

And here's some more information from The Inquirer ......

The above info may be correct, then again it may not be

They look like genuine shots, the cooler designs are unlike anything I've ever seen before. In the top one you can clearly see the water cooling pipe connections, and it looks like they've put a decent fan on it too - at last.

I saw these earler this week,

I don't like this one:

ImageShack - Hosting :: 1159518470782eg0.jpg

If you look at the tubes leading from the connecters they look like they just connect to eachother haha

Prob just the angle or something. And it seems kinda weird to me that they would take off the cooler but not show what the card looked like with it off.

But than again, I want one

R600, codename: Pele
True 512-bit memoryinterface (Nvidia G80 = 384-bit)
1024 MB GDDR4 mem 2,5GHz effective, bandwidth 160GB/s (G80 = 86GB/s)
80nm
Free 4xAA

Loads better than G80.

Hmmm.. Impressive numbers, -oh the power we'll surely need the proper (new) software to drive! I think i'll stick by my x1900 till teh devs get a handle on the sitiation and (perhaps; hoepfully) DX10 really sweeps me off my heels.

Victor had some "hot" new toys back at his home in Taiwan and he took the time to play with some of them, which includes a GeForce 8800GTX. Based on his screenshots, we understand that the GeForce 8800GTX is clocked in at 576MHz core and 1050MHz memory. Powered by an overclocked Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 quad core processor at 3.6GHz and Asus P5B Deluxe motherboard, Victor managed to score 13,717 3Dmarks in 3DMark06. For the record, that's almost double the score that I managed to get from my overclocked 7950GX2!

For more benchmarks and info, please visit Victor's blog.
