is this video temp normal

hey everyone i have a ATI RADEON X850 PRO AGP 8x. At idle it runs at 46 celcuis and under load it runs at 52-54 celcius. i have a fan blowing directly out of the case below the video card i was just wondering if this is normal i am also running dual monitors 21 inch widescreen lcd and 17 inch lcd. so i was just wondering if this is normal. please answer quick

Yes, it's fairly normal..you can get ATI tool and use it to control the speed of the fan.

You can set it to run 100%, auto maintain a certain temp, or adjust the fan speed % dynamicaly according to a temperature profile you set up.

Just go into properties and select fan in the drop down box, you can probably figure out the rest!

EDIT: Using some AS-5 instead of the stock paste will also drop the temps a few degrees...

heh 52-54 aint bad. My 6600GT runs 63C idle and 74C load.

EDIT: HOLY SH!T it actually runs 85C load!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i need a new heatsink...
