Cool

I've not liked any of the ATI tuners.
Get a Hauppage, they are much better.

My ATI 550 Pro based Theatrix (Sapphire) card is one HECK of a PVR card... hardware sound &
image encoding ('sync problems are something of the past...)... and yes.. it comes with a remote
and it supports all major PVR appz, commercial, shareware & freeware... including Windows 98/ME,
2000, XP and MCE....

And I know what I'm talking about... my best friend has two Hauppauge 350 cards in his PVR system
but even he admits image quality of the ATI based card is quite a bit better...

Most people I asked back when I was looking for one said to go with Hauppauge. TDR is adamant about the ATI's though.

I went with a Hauppauge, mainly because I found a good used one for $30 from a guy on another forum. Along with a nice 4" video screen (soon to be used in a nice mod) for $80. Hoping to mod it into my Bettie project, and have it run a nice slideshow of bettie page pics on the side of the case, but we'll have to wait and see. So many wires as it is already, every time I start to work on it I get frustrated and stop.

Hauppauge & ATI both make really nice cards... as do other companies.... besides my
personal expierience
I love to visit forums & sites on the matter... to see what they think/
and/or have reviewed.... just to make sure others agree to what I feel...

A few I like to visit;
