Voodoo 2 SLI/ 3800+ X-2 Socket 939!!!!

Last year I picked a set up from EBAY, unfortunately one of them was damaged in shipping (Broken cap) however a good freind of mine with seriuos soldering skills was able to repair it, and last night I plugged them in and they fired right up! wOOt!!!!!

I still need to pick up a Monitor extension cable (Dongle) to make them fully functional and benchmark them, but there in, and Win XP recognized them when the proper drivers were loaded! (Thanks J-Dogg!)

Now who wants to play some Quake 3?

Trust me I am dyin to bench it, I thought about waiting until I got some numbers to post this, but I was just so happy they worked I couldn't wait!

Without the Dongle, they are just devices. I had to sift through a ton of old forums to find out how to enable SLI, it's alot like seeting up a new Ati crossfire, kinda a PITA.

I wonder if best buy or someplace similar would carry a VGA extension cable?

For all you Voodoo bench junkies, this will have to do for now...I was able to get one quick run in on a AGP Voodoo 5 K6-2 with basic Win XP "Automatic udpate" POS drivers and no tweeks, I will try it again soon with driver from JDogg and a few tweeks

Ya, I had the same thought and ran out the door (8:30 PM) after getting some quick directions off the web to Best Buy ...unfortunately I am not familiar with this area and could not find it and they closed at 9PM, so I will have to wait till tommorow..oh well

the only place to find those cables is ebay. or make your own from old monitor cables.
