To be honest I wouldn't bother. You won't see a huge improvement between custom drivers.

I've used nearly all of the different ATI drivers out here from the defualt ones for my laptop to to the latest catylist drivers, including Omega, DNA, NGO and DHzer0point, I don't think anything really beats the Omega drivers for speed and stability.

i have been using Xtreme-G WarCat 6.5 drivers, and so far, they have eliminated all my -crash to desktop- issues in BF2, synch issues in doom3/quake4, and given be a decent increase to performance all around...

definately the most non-problematic custom driver build i have ever used

your mileage may vary

The proper method for removing ATI drivers is:

In "Add or remove programs" start by removing the ATI CCC, then the ATI driver (Don't reverse this order!) then the ATI uninstall tool.

Next, go into your C: drive and delete the ATI folder!

Reboot

Ignore/cancel windows trying to install a driver

Use Driver Cleaner to remove any leftover garbage in your registry.

Install new drivers and reboot

Battlefield 2, the difference was the stability increase, and unfortunately i can not vouche for any performance increase/decrease in Oblivion since i dont have the game, and quite honestly, hate the game
